The Sussex 2022 Helice Championship was held at the Invicta Gun Club on the 14th August. The weather was very hot with gentle breezes throughout the day. The atmosphere around the club was the normal warm welcome from Invicta who provided half time Ice Creams to all present at the ground! The Surrey and Kent County Championships were also held at the event, creating a competitive shoot for everyone attending.
There was a large Sussex attendance of 20 guns for this popular event. After a thrilling shoot off with Charles Pomfret Andy Stratford won both High Gun for the event and is the new Sussex Champion!
