The Sussex 2013 Helice Championship was once AGAIN held at the Invicta Gun Club on the 16th June, in bright sunshine and light breezes. As usual the atmosphere around the club was welcoming. Surrey and Kent where also hosting their County Championships on the same day, which made the event, more competitive and a great shoot for everyone in attendance.
Surprisingly Sussex was well represented with a good attendance, with nearly all of the first three squads made up of Sussex shooters, impressive scores from Cliff Goodwin and Ivor Dadswell set the early pace.
The results were Josh Taylor (Colt), Jack Judd (Junior), Audrey Rex (Lady), Cliff Goodwin (Veteran), Richard Pleaster (Super Vet), with John Foy as Senior and County Champion.
